Andy McCloskey, MAI

Andy McCloskey, MAI, is a senior director at Apprise, based out of Michigan. Bringing more than 25 years of appraisal experience to Apprise, Mr. McCloskey has covered 42 states and has appraised nearly every type of commercial property throughout his career. He specializes in analyzing both familiar and new markets while maintaining consistent, high-quality reports that strive to exceed expectations. By widely following macro and micro market trends, he is able to solve challenging valuation problems and clearly communicate these results to various stakeholders.

Prior to Apprise, Mr. McCloskey worked as the Principal at Evergreen Valuation Services, a commercial real estate appraisal and consulting firm headquartered in Houston. At Evergreen, he provided services for a wide range of clients, including property owners, banks, and institutional lenders (GSEs, HUD, conduit).

Mr. McCloskey earned his Master of Urban Planning with a concentration in economic development from the University of Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Science in finance and economics from Oakland University. In addition, he completed the requisite courses for the Appraisal Institute's Professional Development Program Registry: Valuation of Sustainable Buildings (commercial) and is particularly interested in projects containing mixed-use and affordable housing components.
