ABOUT Frank Baldasare
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Frank Baldasare, managing director, is responsible for originating Agency and FHA/HUD financing for market rate and affordable properties located nationwide.
Since 1991, Mr. Baldasare has been involved in the origination of approximately $2.5 billion in multifamily financing, including affordable housing developments, utilizing tax exempt bonds and low-income housing tax credits, as well as market rate transactions.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop in 2012, Mr. Baldasare served as senior vice president and regional manager of the Southeast regional office at CWCapital LLC, where he was responsible for Agency and FHA/HUD loan origination. Previously, Mr. Baldasare held the position of vice president at ARCS Commercial Mortgage where he was responsible for the origination of affordable multifamily loans in the Southeast and market rate multifamily loans in Florida. Mr. Baldasare’s prior experience includes serving as a managing director of Cohen Financial, a real estate investment banking firm where he arranged debt and equity capital for multifamily and commercial properties.
Mr. Baldasare earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Auburn University, which he attended on an athletic scholarship. Mr. Baldasare is an active member in the Mortgage Bankers Association of Florida where he served as president and regional governor. He previously served as a board member of the Multifamily Leadership Board of the National Association of Home Builders and currently serves on the board of the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association.
