Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are on the verge of a massive transition: multifamily investor loans will be indexed to SOFR, rather than LIBOR, for the very first time. Phase one of the transition is upon us which will influence all new and existing Agency loans and derivative products, and is going to impact all future Agency ARMs and SARMs, term sheets, and associated hedging requirements.
