The recruiting process at Walker & Dunlop is a
collaborative effort between Human Resources and the hiring department. The
most valuable asset Walker & Dunlop has is its employees and, because of that, we work
hard to protect the unique culture that makes our company a great place to work
by recruiting and hiring the best people.
The steps to our recruiting process:
Upon receiving a resume, we will review it for skills, education and prior experiences that match the requirements of the open position.
When a candidate meets the qualifications, we will set up a phone interview. The results will be relayed to the hiring manager who will decide if the candidate should be brought in for an in-house interview.
If the candidate is offered an interview, they will meet with various members of the company including Human Resources, the hiring manager, and/or potential team members. A second interview may be required.
In the case that the candidate is a fit for the position and company, we will draft an offer letter.
The onboarding process will begin after an offer acceptance and a successful completion of a background check.
