A.J. Mangan
Senior Director
A.J. Mangan, Senior Director, is responsible for sourcing and structuring debt and equity financing for all commercial real estate asset classes across the country, with a focus on Ohio. Mr. Mangan joined Walker & Dunlop in January 2020, as a result of the MSF Real Estate Capital acquisition and brings more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience to the company. Mr. Mangan has been involved in the underwriting role which has led to the placement of over $1.0 billion in commercial real estate loans.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Mangan had been with MSF Real Estate Capital since 2010, serving most recently as Vice President of loan production. Mr. Mangan joined the firm as an intern, then started a full time position in 2012. His education taught him the basic skills of commercial real estate, including but not limited to valuation analysis, appraisal, market research, Argus modeling, spreadsheet modeling and development. During his tenure at MSF Real Estate Capital, Mr. Mangan gained experience structuring capital for every major property type, in all regions of the continental United States. He has worked on transaction sizes ranging from $1 million up to $70 million, and loan products have included permanent, construction, forward, joint venture, bridge, and mezzanine.
Mr. Mangan graduated from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration and real estate.
