about Chad Kiner

Bringing two decades of capital markets and debt and equity placement experience, Chad Kiner, Managing Director, joined Walker & Dunlop in January 2020 as part of the MSF Real Estate Capital acquisition. Mr. Kiner serves as a co-head of the company’s Ohio Capital Markets practice and focuses on sourcing and structuring financing for all commercial real estate asset classes nationally.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Kiner served as Senior Vice President of loan production at MSF Real Estate Capital where he specialized in real estate debt and equity placement. Mr. Kiner assisted his clients in securing well over $250 million annually in debt and equity transactions. He joined MSF in 2010 as Assistant Vice President, focused on supporting upper management in the origination of new lending opportunities for property types, including multifamily, retail, industrial, office, mixed-use, and hospitality. Prior to joining MSF, Mr. Kiner was an asset and portfolio manager at Exel, Inc., where he managed 300 owned and/or leased industrial buildings in the continental United States. Previously, Mr. Kiner was on the project team at Developers Diversified Realty, working on a $2.2 billion acquisition of over 100 retail properties purchased from Benderson Development. In 2005, he joined Collateral Mortgage Capital where he participated in financing activities on industrial, office, retail and multifamily properties as a Real Estate Analysis/Assistant Loan Officer. 

Mr. Kiner graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in business with an emphasis in finance and real estate. Mr. Kiner furthered his education at the University of Florida where he earned a Master’s Degree in real estate.
