Chad Levitt, vice president, brings more than 15 years and $500 million worth of investment real estate experience to Walker & Dunlop. Based out of the Company’s Philadelphia office, he is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity placements for an array of property types such as multifamily, retail, mixed-use, office, industrial, self-storage, and hospitality. Mr. Levitt’s network of capital sources includes local, regional, and national banks, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, life insurance companies, REITs, as well as public and private funds.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Levitt was a member of Colliers International’s Capital Markets team. He previously served as a director at both Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp and was a commercial loan officer at both The Bancorp Bank and RAIT Financial Trust.
Mr. Levitt holds a Bachelor of Science in applied economics and business management from Cornell University. Beyond the company, he is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Philadelphia’s Jewish Federation of Real Estate (JFRE), The Cornell Real Estate Council, Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Prior to his career in commercial real estate finance, Mr. Levitt played four seasons in the National Football League. Drafted in the 4th round of the 1997 NFL draft, he played with the Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams (Super Bowl XXXIV Champions), and Chicago Bears. At Cornell University, Mr. Levitt was a team captain, All American, and 1996 Ivy League player of the year (Bushnell Cup winner).
