David E. Ash
Managing Director
David E. Ash is a Managing Director on the New York Investment Sales Team. In his role, Mr. Ash is responsible for overseeing investment sales efforts across Manhattan and executing all asset classes.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Ash was the founder and CEO of Prince Realty Advisors a boutique capital markets & advisory firm based in NYC. Mr. Ash cultivated and pushed forward a distinct business model within PRA, acting as a “matchmaker” connecting institutional investors to buy, sell, and creatively structure commercial real estate transactions across all asset classes. This straight-forward approach proved successful, as he has successfully executed more than $5.96 Billion in sales transactions since inception in 2010 rivaling some of the perennial top firms in the industry.
Before founding PRA, Mr. Ash was an Office & Retail Leasing Specialist for The Kaufman Organization where he was the top producer each of the 4 years at the firm. Mr. Ash earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing & International Business from the NYU Stern School of Business. Mr. Ash is also the founder and Chairman of a NYC based nonprofit called Donate Your Time that ‘Matches’ individuals who are hungry to volunteer in their communities and are looking for outlets to connect with organizations that provide the opportunity to do so.
In addition, Mr. Ash has received the honor as one of the top ten power brokers in New York and has been nominated twice for most ingenious deal of the year by the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Lastly, he is a member of REBNY, The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and is a CoStar Power Broker.
