about Grant Robertson

Grant Robertson, Associate Director, is responsible for originating and structuring financing opportunities for all commercial real estate asset classes nationwide. Mr. Robertson specializes in multifamily and commercial loan originations utilizing direct relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and correspondent life insurance companies. With more than a decade of experience, Mr. Robertson has underwritten and closed over $1 billion in loan volume.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Robertson served as a Director for George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company (GEMB). During his tenure at GEMB, Mr. Robertson closed more than $380 million of commercial real estate debt secured by office, industrial, retail, multifamily, hospitality, manufactured housing, and self-storage properties.

Mr. Robertson attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he played Division 1 men’s tennis and founded a restaurant called Dogtown.
