about Greg Florkowski

Mr. Florkowski joined Walker & Dunlop in 2010 and is located in the Bethesda, Maryland office. As EVP & Chief Financial Officer he works directly with the company’s executive management team developing, implementing, and executing strategic business goals. Key responsibilities include due diligence and financial analysis in support of Walker & Dunlop’s M&A activities, as well as salesperson recruiting efforts. Additionally, Mr. Florkowski manages the company’s joint venture investment in Apprise by Walker & Dunlop, its technologically enabled valuation advisory platform.

Mr. Florkowski worked closely with senior management to successfully execute Walker & Dunlop’s initial public offering in December 2010 and was a member of the team responsible for the acquisitions of CWCapital, Johnson Capital Group, Engler Financial Group, George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company, Deerwood Real Estate Capital, JCR Capital, iCap Realty Advisors, Enodo, MSF Real Estate Capital, AKS Capital Partners, and Beler Advisory Group.

Mr. Florkowski began his career at KPMG LLP. In his role at KPMG, Mr. Florkowski worked as a senior manager in the assurance practice where he primarily served public companies in the financial services industry and non-public companies in financial services, private equity and specialty finance.

Mr. Florkowski holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Salisbury University.
