about Hanes Dunn

Hanes Dunn is a director based in Walker & Dunlop’s New Orleans office where he is responsible for nationwide commercial real estate loan originations. Mr. Dunn specializes in structuring commercial real estate financing from debt capital sources, including agencies, life companies, banks, and debt funds. Over the last ten years he has contributed to the origination and underwriting of over $5 billion in commercial real estate financing.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Dunn joined Walker & Dunlop in 2013 as an analyst before working his way up to his current position.

Mr. Dunn earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
