about Jessica Deeney

Based in Walker & Dunlop’s office in Needham, Massachusetts, Jessica Deeney is a Director for the company’s Multifamily Finance group. Ms. Deeney is responsible for sizing and overseeing loans through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, with a focus on affordable housing transactions. Ms. Deeney has 10 years of commercial real estate finance experience, most of which gained during her tenure with Walker & Dunlop after first beginning her career at CW Capital in 2012. 

Before her promotion to Director, she previously served as a Transaction Manager for Walker & Dunlop’s Affordable Production group, where she assisted the affordable production teams and helped to strengthen the relationship with the company’s Freddie Mac Optigo^® Targeted Affordable Housing (TAH) team. Prior to her role as Transaction Manager, Ms. Deeney was an Underwriter for the company’s Affordable Finance group, where she gained valuable experience with affordable transactions focused on tax-exempt and taxable bonds, federal and state tax credits and Section 8 housing.

Ms. Deeney graduated cum laude from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Arts in history and earned a Real Estate Finance Certificate from Boston University.
