Kim Cox, vice president, is responsible for multifamily originations through Walker & Dunlop’s Agency lending programs.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Cox served in multiple positions throughout his 28 year tenure at HUD, including, chief of Multifamily Production in the Knoxville Program Center and director of the Knoxville Multifamily Division. Mr. Cox achieved several accomplishments while at HUD including; the organization and launch of the Multifamily Application Processing (MAP) program, selected as a navigator for HUD’s Breaking Ground initiative and was selected as the HUD Atlanta Region customer service employee of the year.
With 20 years of service, Mr. Cox retired from the Tennessee Air National Guard achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, serving in both Gulf wars and numerous other deployments. Mr. Cox graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration.
