about Michael Presser

Michael Presser, Senior Director, joined Walker & Dunlop in 2016 as a result of the George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company acquisition. With over 13 years’ experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Presser has extensive experience working with a wide array of capital sources including life insurance companies, CMBS, banks, credit unions, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, private debt funds, private equity funds, and pension funds.

During his tenure as a principal at George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company, Mr. Presser closed in excess of $3 billion of financings in the form of permanent loans, bridge loans, construction loans, mezzanine loans, lines of credit and joint venture equity.

Mr. Presser received his bachelor of arts degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA with an emphasis in real estate and finance.

Beyond the Company, Mr. Presser was formerly a member of the ULI Orange County Capital Markets Product Council, is a current member of the ULI Orange County NEXT Product Council, and is also a member of the CFBA, CMBA, and the Los Angeles Mortgage Association.
