about Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is a Senior Director for Walker & Dunlop’s Affordable Production department in Nashville, TN. In this role, Mr. Smith is responsible for financing conventional and affordable multifamily, healthcare, student housing, and other income-producing commercial real estate assets throughout the country.

Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Ryan worked as Vice President for Colliers Mortgage/Dougherty Mortgage. Over the past decade, Mr. Smith has originated and closed commercial loans for assets with a total valuation of more than $2.5 billion.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in addition to a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.
