David B. Gahagan, senior vice president, provides financing solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the southeast region. Mr. Gahagan joined Walker & Dunlop in 2012. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Gahagan was vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital where he was responsible for origination and placement of commercial real estate and multifamily loans on behalf of Agency platforms, life insurance companies, commercial banks and CMBS lenders. Mr. Gahagan began his career as an analyst at Northmarq Capital/Legg Mason Real Estate Services in 1989, where he was promoted to vice president in 1994, a position he held until joining Grandbridge in 2004. He is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC), and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Mr. Gahagan holds a bachelor’s degree from Furman University and a master’s degree in business administration with a finance concentration from the University of South Florida.
