Ellen Kantrowitz, senior vice president, is responsible for loan origination and structuring financing solutions under Walker & Dunlop’s FHA program. Ms. Kantrowitz has over 30 years of FHA underwriting experience, having underwritten and structured financing for refinance transactions and new construction of multifamily housing, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Ms. Kantrowitz served as managing director at CWCapital LLC, where she was responsible for the mortgage underwriting of all FHA loan transactions, totaling more than $1 billion of financing. Previously, Ms. Kantrowitz was employed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Boston regional office, where she served as chief of housing programs.
Ms. Kantrowitz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston University.
