Environmental

We embrace our responsibility to reduce our environmental impact through our commercial real estate finance operations and lending practices and have set ambitious emissions and energy reduction goals. We are actively involved in the Fannie Mae Green Rewards and Freddie Mac Green Advantage programs, which help property owners and operators reduce their energy and water consumption in multifamily properties.

Social

To achieve our goal of being a great place to work, Walker & Dunlop treats all individuals with respect and dignity and creates opportunities to develop both personally and professionally. Our dedication to creating diverse, inclusive spaces for employees and clients helps us to expand the perspectives and experiences that contribute to our shared success. We are also committed to positively impacting the communities we finance, providing much needed affordable housing and aligning our national charitable partnerships with our passion for housing.

Governance

Our eight-member Board of Directors has a diverse set of backgrounds and expertise. 75 percent of our directors are independent, including our Lead Director. We conduct our business activities and transactions with the highest level of integrity and ethical standards.
