Irelynne Estevez-Waller

As Vice President & Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) for Walker & Dunlop, Irelynne Estevez-Waller leads the company’s comprehensive efforts to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment within Walker & Dunlop and across the broader commercial real estate industry. By driving initiatives such as Walker & Dunlop’s Drive to ’25 DE&I goals, external university partnerships to recruit diverse talent, and internal employee resource groups to foster an inclusive company culture, she is responsible for helping to design and implement the company’s overall company DE&I strategy.

Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Ms. Estevez-Waller served as a Learning and Development Partner for Hobsons, an education technology company. There, she focused on DE&I programming and helped to spearhead the company’s first DE&I strategy. Before joining Hobsons, she began her career as a college admissions counselor, where she served on the first multicultural recruitment team, focused on recruiting Latinx students, and worked closely with school administrators and faculty to help build an inclusive environment for all.

Ms. Estevez-Waller earned a Master of Integrated Studies in business and school counseling from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Ohio University. She holds a Diversity and Inclusion in HR certificate from Cornell University and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Additionally, Ms. Estevez-Waller is bilingual and utilizes her knowledge of Spanish to engage with Spanish-speaking employees and recruits in their first language.
