John Meunier is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, Meunier is responsible for financing income-producing properties across primary asset classes including multifamily, retail, office, hospitality, and special purpose properties. While his work is primarily focused on assets throughout the Midwest, he has experience structuring transactions nationwide and has closed more than $1 billion in commercial mortgages since joining Walker & Dunlop in 2019.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Meunier served as an intern at UDR, formerly United Dominion Realty, one of the largest publicly traded real estate investment trusts in the United States with a portfolio exceeding 48,000 units.

Meunier earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate and marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
