Jonathan Paine is a senior managing director of Capital Markets and co-head of Equity & Structured Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Houston, Texas. In this role, Paine is responsible for securing structured capital for owners and developers of commercial real estate assets across the United States.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Paine served as senior vice president at JLL Capital Markets, where he structured capital for nearly $2.2 billion in real estate acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations. Before that, he was vice president of finance at Means Knaus Partners, where he evaluated co-investment opportunities, managed the corporate finance function, and oversaw the firm’s sale to JLL.

Paine earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lehigh University, a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas, and a master’s degree in business administration from Rice University. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
