Marc Soto
Managing Director, Multifamily Finance
Marc Soto is a managing director on the Multifamily Finance team at Walker & Dunlop, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In his role, he is responsible for nationwide loan origination and specializes in the origination of multifamily loans through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and various Capital Markets executions. Mr. Soto brings over $5 billion of multifamily agency originations experience to Walker & Dunlop.
Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Soto served as a Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at Capital One. During this time, he was responsible for helping grow the firm’s correspondent relationship platform to over $4 billion in agency originations per year and managing his own direct originations team based in New York City.
Mr. Soto earned his bachelor's degree in Sociology and minor in Business Administration from The George Washington University. He was named a Top Young Professional by Commercial Observer in 2022 and was a recipient of the Next Generation Award by Connect Media in 2020, where he was a National Honoree.
