Matt Shevlin
Managing Director, Multifamily Finance
Matt Shevlin is a managing director in Walker & Dunlop’s Multifamily Finance division, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Shevlin is responsible for structuring, pricing, and placing Walker & Dunlop’s multifamily real estate related debt securities.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Shevlin was a vice president at Deutsche Bank in the Commercial Real Estate Group in New York. Mr. Shevlin started his focus on real estate at Chestnut Hill Realty in business development, evaluating investment opportunities. Before that, he worked in the investment banking division at CIBC World Markets in Los Angeles focusing on mergers & acquisitions and equity offerings in the gaming, lodging and leisure space.
Mr. Shevlin earned his bachelor’s degree in government from Dartmouth College and his MBA from Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. Matt, his wife, Erica, and their twin boys, Rhett and Cole, reside in Hingham, Massachusetts, where he is actively involved in the community.
