PJ Feichtmeier, CFA, is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, Feichtmeier is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and closing transactions ranging from senior debt to joint-venture equity. He specializes in multifamily and build-to-rent communities, with experience across industrial, retail, office, and hospitality asset classes, and has been involved in more than $5.5 billion of financing, with individual transactions ranging from $2 million to $200 million. Over the course of his career, he has arranged transactions with a diverse range of capital providers, including life insurance companies, private equity and debt funds, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, local, regional, and international banks, REITs, family offices, and CMBS lenders.

Prior to his current role, Feichtmeier served as an associate with Walker & Dunlop Investment Partners, formerly JCR Capital, where he focused on asset management for the firm’s closed-end equity funds. Before that, he worked as an analyst at Duff & Phelps, where he valued large commercial real estate portfolios, conducted asset-level appraisals, and performed purchase price allocations.

Feichtmeier earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and investment banking and a bachelor’s degree in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA) and NAIOP Colorado.
