Rob Buelow is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing debt financing for acquisitions, refinances, repositioning, and ground-up construction projects across all commercial real estate asset classes nationwide. He specializes in multifamily and commercial loan originations through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS lenders, banks, and life insurance companies and has closed more than $2 billion in debt and equity financing throughout his career.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Buelow served as an associate director at George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company. Before that, he worked as a real estate underwriter in the fixed income division at Morgan Stanley.
Buelow earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, graduating with honors. He is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
