Rob Buelow
Director, Capital Markets
Rob Buelow is a director of Capital Markets at Walker & Dunlop, based in Los Angeles, California. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing debt financing for acquisitions, refinances, repositioning, and ground-up construction projects for all commercial real estate asset classes nationwide. Mr. Buelow specializes in multifamily and commercial loan originations utilizing direct relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, CMBS, banks, and life insurance companies.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Buelow served as associate director at George Elkins Mortgage Banking Company. Throughout his career, Mr. Buelow has underwritten and closed more than $2 billion in debt and equity financing for multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hotel, manufactured housing, and self-storage properties. He was previously a Real Estate Underwriter in the Fixed Income Division at Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Buelow graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA).
