Sean Skelton is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Irvine, California. In this role, Skelton is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing debt financing for acquisitions, refinances, repositioning, and ground-up construction projects across all commercial real estate asset classes. He specializes in complex financing transactions and works with clients including family offices, investment managers, and private equity syndicators.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Skelton served at Johnson Capital, which was acquired by Walker & Dunlop. Before that, he was an acquisitions specialist at Edgewood Realty Partners, an owner-operator of office and retail properties in Los Angeles County.

Skelton earned a bachelor’s degree from the Herbert Business School at the University of Miami and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.
