Thornton (Charles) Mallard is a director of Capital Markets | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he represents buyers and sellers, with a primary focus on the brokerage of residential, industrial, and retail land sites throughout the Atlanta metropolitan statistical area.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mallard worked at Avalon Real Estate Partners, which was later acquired by Walker & Dunlop, where he focused on land brokerage throughout the Atlanta market. Before that, he served as assistant project manager and director of sales at Cousins Properties for a second-home residential development in Newnan, Georgia. Earlier in his career, he worked at Bullock Mannelly Partners in Atlanta, where he represented buyers in the acquisition of multifamily land sites.

Mallard earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from the University of Georgia and is a licensed real estate agent in Georgia. He lives in Georgia with his wife, Sam, and their son, Wilkes.
