about Johnny Harris

Johnny Harris is a Senior Vice President at Walker & Dunlop. In his role, he works directly with the company’s executive management team to develop, implement, and execute strategic business goals. In addition, Mr. Harris is responsible for sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, and legal document review in support of Walker & Dunlop’s M&A activities, internal strategy formation and execution, and salesperson recruiting efforts.

Mr. Harris originally worked at Walker & Dunlop from 2011–2014 and then rejoined in 2017.  From 2011–2014, Mr. Harris was a member of the team responsible for the acquisitions of JCR Capital, iCap Realty Advisors, Enodo, MSF Real Estate Capital, AKS Capital Partners, Beler Advisory Group, FourPoint Investment Sales Partners, TapCap, Zelman & Associates, Alliant Capital, GeoPhy and Avalon Real Estate Partners.

Prior to Walker & Dunlop Mr. Harris worked at KPMG LLP, where he worked as a senior associate in the assurance practice serving companies in financial services, private equity, and specialty finance. Beyond KPMG and Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Harris also worked at M&T Bank from 2016–2017.

Mr. Harris earned his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Richmond. He is also a CFA charter holder and holds an inactive CPA license.
