Heather Cox
SVP, FHA Closing Manager
Heather Cox is Senior Vice President and FHA Closing Manager for Walker & Dunlop’s FHA Department. In her role, Ms. Cox is responsible for the oversight of the FHA closers and delivery of the Ginnie Mae securities.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop in 2021, Ms. Cox workedin the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending business for 22 years and assisted with pre-application loan sizing/screening, policy development and infrastructure, audits, the development of pipeline tracking systems, closing/delivery, and warehousing of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans.
Ms. Cox earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in both Management and Economics and minor in International Marketing from the University of Kentucky. In addition, she is an active member of the MBA Closing Committee.
