Mike Alexander is an Director in Walker & Dunlop's Multifamily Finance group based in New York. In his role, he is responsible for helping grow the Small Balance Group, where he focuses on originating multifamily small-balance loans and providing financing solutions for apartment properties across the country. Throughout his career Mr. Alexander has underwritten, analyzed, and facilitated commercial real estate transactions in excess of $1 billion.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Alexander spent five years working as an asset manager on Walker & Dunlop's Asset Management team. Mr. Alexander's extensive experience working with clients, producers, and underwriters helped him service and monitor W&D's +$105 billion GSE portfolio.

Mr. Alexander earned his bachelor’s degree in government and law from Lafayette College.
