Adam Cornelius is a senior director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, he specializes in financing for affordable housing, HUD-insured mortgages, and multifamily properties, and works in debt brokerage to arrange financing solutions for clients across multiple capital sources and property types. He has nearly 20 years of commercial real estate finance experience.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Cornelius served as a vice president at NorthMarq, where he worked as a HUD MAP lender and originated financing through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac platforms. Earlier in his career, he served as a capital markets advisor at Marcus & Millichap, where he was involved in the placement of debt and equity for commercial real estate transactions.

Cornelius earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah.
