Adam Johnston, Managing Director, is responsible for nationwide loan origination, based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Bethesda, Maryland office. Mr. Johnston specializes in the origination of multifamily loans through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Mr. Johnston joined Walker & Dunlop in 2012 as an analyst in the Underwriting department and later transitioned into a production role at the beginning of 2015. Throughout his career, Mr. Johnston has participated in the origination and underwriting of over $2.5 billion in transactions and has experience with conventional multi-family, manufactured, senior, student, and affordable housing.

Mr. Johnston graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics from Lehigh University and is actively pursuing his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
