AJ Wright is a senior director of Capital Markets Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Atlanta. In this role, he is responsible for nationwide loan originations. In his more than 10 years at Walker & Dunlop, he has participated in the origination, underwriting and closing of more than $17 billion in commercial real estate financing. Throughout his career, he has gained experience with conventional multifamily housing, student housing and affordable housing, including large portfolios and structured transactions.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Wright worked as an analyst at DS Murphy & Associates, providing valuation services on single-family residential properties throughout the Atlanta metro area.

Wright earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Auburn University.
