Alex Holt is a managing director of Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop, based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he is responsible for both the buyer and seller representation sides of the business, where he focuses on the acquisition and disposition of single family residential, multifamily and industrial development land. Mr. Holt also works with landowners and developer/builder buyers from the outset of contract negotiation, through the entitlement and permitting processes.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Holt was a partner at Avalon Real Estate Partners, which was acquired by W&D in 2022. Before that, he ran The Holt Service Group LLC, a property management and contracting firm specializing in the maintenance and improvement of residential and commercial properties in Georgia. Additionally, he worked in Aspen, Colorado with the Aspen Ski Company and ESPN’s Winter X Games.

Mr. Holt earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business. In addition, he is a licensed real estate sales agent in the States of Georgia and South Carolina. In his spare time, Mr. Holt enjoys skiing, travel, boating, hunting, golf, and spending time with his wife and four young sons.
