Alex Holt is a managing director of Capital Markets | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of single-family residential, multifamily, and industrial development land. He works with landowners and developer-builder clients from initial contract negotiation through entitlement and permitting.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Holt was a partner at Avalon Real Estate Partners, which was acquired by Walker & Dunlop in 2022. Before that, he founded The Holt Service Group, a property management and contracting firm specializing in the maintenance and improvement of residential and commercial properties in Georgia. Earlier in his career, he worked in Aspen, Colorado, with the Aspen Ski Company and ESPN’s Winter X Games.

Holt earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business. He is a licensed real estate sales agent in Georgia and South Carolina. Outside of Walker & Dunlop, he enjoys skiing, travel, boating, hunting, golf, and spending time with his wife and their four sons.
