Alex Inman is a senior managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, he is responsible for originating new loans and arranging JV equity out of the Dallas office. Since 2009, he has arranged over $12 billion in financing from various capital sources such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA HUD, CMBS, banks, and life companies. Throughout his career, he has financed more than 125,000 multifamily housing units across the United States, specializing in agency lending (GSE & FHA), capital markets, debt and structured finance, debt advisory, and equity placement.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Inman was a mortgage broker at Marcus & Millichap, where he was responsible for originating loans and structuring debt and equity across all major property types operating out of the Dallas office.
Inman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He has pursued his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) certification, has previously held a real estate salesperson license in Texas, and is a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission. Outside of Walker & Dunlop, he serves on the Board of Jonathan’s Place, a non-profit Emergency Shelter in Dallas. Inman is an avid golfer and a voracious reader who enjoys family time with his wife and three children.
