Blair Tynes is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, Tynes is responsible for nationwide loan originations and has participated in the origination and underwriting of more than $5 billion in commercial real estate financing.

Prior to his current role, Tynes served as an underwriting analyst and underwriter before transitioning to the production team. Throughout his career, he has worked across conventional multifamily housing, affordable housing, manufactured housing and student housing, including large portfolio and structured transactions.

Tynes earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington and Lee University and is active in the Urban Land Institute.
