Brian McGrath is a senior vice president of Servicing at Walker & Dunlop, based in Needham, Massachusetts. In this role, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day servicing and asset management of a $15+ Billion portfolio of Life Company Loans. Mr. McGrath’s staff handles all aspects of loan servicing and asset management including loan boarding, escrow administration, invoicing and collections, escrow analysis, ARM resets, cash management, reporting, payoff processing, customer service, maturity management, watch list management, default management and other asset management related duties.
Prior to his current position, he served as vice president of asset management within the loan servicing division where he managed credit risk on a portfolio of loans for the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD–Healthcare (LEAN), CMBS, and Bridge Loan programs. Before that, he was an asset manager for a publicly traded healthcare REIT, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of over $3 Billion of healthcare assets, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and medical office buildings.
Mr. McGrath earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Merrimack College and his master’s degree in finance from Bentley University.
