Senior Director, Investment Sales
Chris Hughes is a senior director of investment sales at Walker & Dunlop, based in Winter Park, Florida. In his role, he is responsible for land sales throughout the state of Florida, representing both buyers and sellers. His primary focus is on the acquisition and disposition of land across the residential spectrum, including but not limited to multi-family, single-family, mixed-use, and master-planned communities.
Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Hughes was the director of development at Epoch Residential, where he focused on identifying and sourcing opportunities suitable for the development of Class A market-rate apartments across targeted markets. In his previous roles, Mr. Hughes served as the managing principal of several smaller real estate companies that participated in investment and development opportunities across a multitude of asset classes.
Mr. Hughes earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Rollins College. He is a licensed real estate broker in Florida and is currently a candidate for both the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designations. Additionally, he actively participates in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC). In his spare time, he enjoys golf, boating, travel, food, and spending time with his wife and two children.
