Corey Cooper is senior vice president and head of servicing at Walker & Dunlop, based in Needham, Massachusetts. In her role, she is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the firm’s $136 billion servicing portfolio, encompassing more than 8,200 loans. Additionally, Ms. Cooper leads the Servicing & Asset Management platform, which includes compliance and analytics, insurance, and treasury and investor reporting. She has more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate finance, with deep expertise in operational strategy and execution across multifamily and healthcare lending programs.

Before joining Walker & Dunlop in 2019, Ms. Cooper served as managing director of multifamily capital markets at Newmark, where she oversaw national production operations. Her prior roles include vice president at Draper & Kramer, where she specialized in FHA-insured loan executions, and senior vice president at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where she led closing, construction loan servicing, and HUD mortgage banking activities. Ms. Cooper began her career as associate counsel at the law firm Talbott & Associates in McLean, Virginia.

Ms. Cooper earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Queen Mary University of London and her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from William & Mary Law School. She is licensed to practice law in New York.
