Craig Spangler is a director of Affordable Housing | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Buffalo, New York. In this role, he oversees the analysis, valuation, and listing of affordable housing assets nationwide, specializing in Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and project-based Section 8 asset sale transactions.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Spangler served as a development associate at SAA | EVI, where he underwrote affordable housing developments, managed tax credit applications, coordinated financing and agency approvals, and led development teams through the closing process. Before that, he was a financial analyst at Conifer Realty, where he focused on affordable housing underwriting, dispositions, LP buyouts, resyndications, and investment committee analysis.

Spangler earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Alfred University and a master’s degree in real estate development from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
