Dhaval Patel is a managing director of Capital Markets | Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of investment sales and equity capital raises for multifamily assets throughout Florida and the surrounding region. Over the course of his career, he has assisted in the marketing and disposition of more than $10 billion in multifamily assets and land for multifamily development.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Patel served as an executive vice president on the Jacksonville multifamily team at CBRE. Earlier in his career, he spent five years at Merrill Lynch in various finance roles, where he implemented Sarbanes-Oxley procedures across the finance department and conducted an audit of the 17-department operations center to ensure compliance.

Patel earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Florida and is a Six Sigma project participant.
