Doug Hart is a senior director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, Hart is responsible for originating new loans for multifamily and commercial transactions. Since joining the firm, he has participated in and facilitated the closing of transactions totaling more than $2.5 billion.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Hart served as development coordinator for Douglas Development, where he facilitated the funding and construction of 15 low-income housing tax credit projects across Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Before that, he founded Hart Construction, a New Orleans-based construction company.

Hart earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
