Dustin Swartz is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, he is responsible for originating multifamily loans nationwide, with a primary emphasis on the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than $3.0 billion in loan originations.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Swartz served as vice president at CWCapital, where he originated more than $400 million in Agency and CMBS loans. Before that, he worked at Green Park Financial, now operating as Walker & Dunlop, where he began his career as a Fannie Mae underwriter before moving into Agency loan originations as vice president. During his tenure there, he originated and closed more than $1.1 billion in Agency loans, including a $200 million Fannie Mae credit facility for a public REIT and a $100 million refinance of a 21-asset multifamily portfolio.
Swartz earned a bachelor’s degree in real estate from Pennsylvania State University, graduating with the highest GPA in the real estate degree program.
