Eli Rath is an associate director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, Rath is responsible for originating new financings across all commercial real estate asset classes, with a focus on multifamily.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Rath served as a senior associate of acquisitions at Lion Real Estate Group where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities on behalf of discretionary private equity funds. In this role, he was involved with the acquisition of over 4,200 multifamily units across several major Sunbelt markets.

Rath earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics with a focus in real estate from the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business and holds certifications in real estate financial modeling.
