Emily Moraga is a senior vice president of Affordable Housing | Equity at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, she leads investment management for the firm’s multifamily funds and oversees multifund closing due diligence coordination, Reznick reviews, and investor communications. She works closely with the investor relations, acquisitions, and finance teams to meet investor needs. She has more than 25 years of experience across conventional and affordable housing, including operational, managing member, and limited partner roles.

Prior to her current role, Moraga served in asset management leadership positions at Alliant Strategic and Alliant Capital, which were later acquired by Walker & Dunlop, where she oversaw affordable housing investment portfolios and asset performance. Before that, she served as a portfolio manager at Alliant Real Estate Investments. Earlier in her career, she was a property manager at Equity Residential.

Moraga earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside.
