Evan Hurd is a managing director of Capital Markets | Hospitality Advisory at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, Hurd specializes in hospitality investment sales, debt placement, equity advisory, and structured capital solutions for hotel and resort assets nationwide. He advises institutional and entrepreneurial owners on complex capital markets transactions, including asset sales, recapitalizations, refinancings, and construction financing, and has extensive experience across full-service, select-service, luxury, lifestyle, and resort properties, with particular expertise in structuring capital solutions for transitional and value-add hospitality investments.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Hurd served as partner and managing director at RobertDouglas, where he focused on hospitality capital markets advisory and advised on hospitality transactions nationwide. Before that, he held hospitality investment and advisory roles at Barings and HEI Hotels & Resorts and began his career at HVS.

Hurd earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration from the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
