Hanes Dunn is a senior director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, he is responsible for nationwide commercial real estate loan originations and specializes in structuring financing from a range of debt capital sources, including Agency lenders, life companies, banks, and debt funds. He specializes in leveraging extensive lender relationships and market insight to structure tailored financing solutions for his clients. Over the last 10 years, he has contributed to the origination and underwriting of more than $10 billion in commercial real estate financing.

Prior to his current role, Dunn joined Walker & Dunlop as an analyst and advanced through the firm into production.

Dunn earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
