James Geraci is a director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Needham, Massachusetts. In this role, Geraci specializes in multifamily loan originations nationwide. Throughout his career, he has worked on billions of dollars of debt transactions across Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, life companies, banks, bridge and debt funds, and CMBS lenders.

Prior to his current role, Geraci served in multiple positions at Walker & Dunlop, including portfolio analyst in the servicing department, where he managed a $1 billion bridge loan portfolio, before transitioning into a production analyst role within the Multifamily Finance department.

Geraci earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and a certificate in real estate from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is active in the Emerging Leaders Committee of Boston’s Real Estate Finance Association.
