Jim Hoggatt is a senior director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, Hoggatt is responsible for multifamily and commercial loan originations through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, life insurance company, bridge, and CMBS executions. He structures financing solutions across multiple property types including multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, self-storage, and manufactured housing.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Hoggatt served as an assistant vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, where he focused on the origination, structuring, and sourcing of debt and equity capital for multifamily and commercial real estate properties. Earlier in his career, he served as an investment sales broker at Marcus & Millichap, focusing on multifamily and commercial property transactions throughout Florida and the Southeast.
Hoggatt earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in real estate and finance from Florida State University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.
