John Carr
Managing Director, Investment Sales
John Carr is a managing director of investment sales at Walker & Dunlop, based in Atlanta, Georgia. In his role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of multifamily property sales throughout the Southeast U.S.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Carr was a managing director at Cushman & Wakefield, specializing in institutional and middle market transactions throughout the Sunbelt region. There, he participated in more than 300 transactions totaling over $5 billion in sales volume and played a major role in establishing Cushman & Wakefield’s investment sales presence in Texas. Before that, Mr. Carr acquired development experience working for national developer Alliance Residential, focusing on the firm’s projects in primary Southeastern markets.
Mr. Carr earned his bachelor’s degree in real estate from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
